Terrastock 6 announcement

Terrastock 6 took place in Providence, Rhode Island USA on April 21st, 22nd and 23rd, 2006.

		Nine years after the very first Terrastock, the festival returned to Providence, Rhode Island for 2006. This time it promised to be bigger and better than ever, with an unrivalled international line-up of hand picked psychedelic and experimental rock & folk bands from across the terraverse. click here for a complete list of bands & performers This year we were very proud to have as Festival Director Jeffrey Alexander of Secret Eye Records. Jeffrey arranged that Terrastock 6 be staged in two centrally located neighbouring buildings in Providence. The main stage was at Pell Chafee Performance Center, a beautiful old bank building constructed in 1929. It is an amazing open space with a three story tall high-vaulted ceiling. AS220 hosted the second stage (only 15 yards down the "sidewalk"). AS220 is a wonderful community arts centre that has been promoting art, music and culture from Rhode Island, national and international artists, for over 20 years. Please note that Terrastock 6 was an ALL AGES show. Everyone was welcome, young and old alike. Persons had to be able to prove themselves to be 21 or over to purchase alcohol, however.
