This year we were very proud to have as Festival Director Jeffrey
Alexander of Secret Eye Records. Jeffrey arranged that
Terrastock 6 be staged
in two centrally located neighbouring buildings in Providence. The main
stage was at Pell Chafee Performance Center, a beautiful old bank
building constructed in 1929. It is an amazing open space with a three
story tall high-vaulted ceiling.
AS220 hosted the second stage (only 15 yards down the "sidewalk"). AS220
is a wonderful community arts centre that has been promoting art, music
and culture from Rhode Island, national and international artists, for
over 20 years.
Please note that Terrastock 6 was an ALL
AGES show. Everyone was welcome, young and old alike.
Persons had to be able to prove themselves
to be 21 or over to purchase alcohol, however.
